On January 3, 2023, Tesla officially released the global production and delivery data for 2022. In 2022, Tesla delivered 1.31 million pure electric vehicles, an increase of 40% over 2021; 1.37 million vehicles were produced, with a year-on-year growth of about 47%. In the fourth quarter, 439701 vehicles were produced and 405278 vehicles were delivered, setting a new delivery record.
From January to October 2022, Model Y became the world's best-selling electric vehicle with nearly 570,000 units sold. The Model 3 was second with about 365,000.
Since its founding, Tesla has delivered more than 3.6 million vehicles.
In terms of service and support center, taking China Mainland as an example, Tesla have more than 320 experience stores and service centers, 21 delivery centers and 31 directly-operated body and spray center network in 2022. For energy supplement, the completion of Tesla's 10,000th super charging pile in China in 2022 has enabled the super charging network to cover 100% of all provincial capitals and municipalities in China Mainland.
