Tesla is making headlines once again with its ambitious plan to construct the world's largest Supercharger station in Yeehaw Junction, Florida. With over 200 charging stalls, this station marks a significant milestone in Tesla's commitment to expanding its electric vehicle infrastructure.
Location and Design
Located at 3010 State Rd. 60, off of exit 193 on the Florida Turnpike and near the junction with I-95, the Supercharger station promises convenience and accessibility for Tesla owners in the region. Preliminary site plans reveal a layout that includes approximately 160 V3 charging stalls and 40 standalone stalls, with special accommodations such as eight pull-through stalls for trailers
Construction Details
Managed by GPD Group Inc., the construction of the Supercharger station is slated to be carried out in three phases, with stalls being opened progressively. Additionally, the site may feature up to four Megapacks, enhancing its capacity and reliability.

Expanding Supercharger Network
This announcement comes on the heels of Tesla's recent initiatives to broaden access to its Supercharger network. In February, plans were filed for a 164-stall Supercharger station in Kern County, California, signaling Tesla's ongoing commitment to infrastructure development.
In a groundbreaking move, Tesla has begun opening its Supercharger stations to other electric vehicle brands, including Ford and Rivian. This inclusivity reflects Tesla's vision of accelerating the transition to sustainable transportation by embracing collaboration and interoperability.
Future Prospects
Looking ahead, Tesla is poised to extend Supercharger access to additional EV manufacturers, including General Motors (GM), Polestar, and Volvo. Furthermore, innovative projects such as the upcoming Supercharger with a diner and drive-in theater in Los Angeles exemplify Tesla's commitment to enhancing the charging experience for customers.
As Tesla continues to push the boundaries of electric vehicle technology and infrastructure, the construction of the world's largest Supercharger station in Florida stands as a testament to the company's relentless pursuit of innovation.
